Karen began the journey of creating Yarra Valley Dress Hire in 2021.
As a mother of four, she is all too familiar with what motherhood and just being a working woman entails...
being time poor, weight fluctuations, body insecurities, spending money on everyone else but yourself and the conflict of
"do i deserve or can I afford to buy that expensive dress that's just going to sit in my wardrobe for years to come?"
She wanted to create a 'one stop shop' in her local area that she felt was lacking fashion and giftware options and to offer a solution to obtaining that 'high end look' at a fraction of the price all under one roof.
Choosing a team of like-minded women to surround her, Karen is supported by her 'YVDH family' that bring a variety of ages, expertise, passion and fun each day into their little sanctuary.
